"I was lucky to take a morning to be with my mom and enjoy the beautiful facilities and quality 90 minute deep tissue massage offered by the staff at Island Medical Spa. From the beginning I felt as though I were being treated like a princess. The morning began with our choice of a delicious hot or cold fruit and tea elixir which we enjoyed while we were waiting to enter the spa. Inside, we were given our own personal lockers and then lead to enjoy a relaxing food scrub while lounging in plush spa robes. From the beginning my massage therapist Jessica was attentive and kind, making me feel comfortable immediately. The massage experience was an excellent choice towards maintaining and learning about my health. The massage was followed by a lovely shower in a clean, luxurious stream room. This aspect was especially nice, as it helped to further relax and release tension in the muscles as well as cleanse my skin. The steam room was such a pleasure, I felt vibrant all day! Overall my experience at Island Medical Spa was outstanding. The staff was highly professional and very friendly, you will find no excuse to be nervous or tense for a second! The facilities are gorgeous with materials of the highest taste and quality. You won't regret scheduling an appointment with Island Medical Spa for a facial, massage, or just a special treat to relax. One of the top spas in Island/Skagit Counties."

I founded Island Medical Spa in 1999 to address the aesthetic needs of our dermatology patients. I sought to combine my clinical experience as a specialist in dermatology with investigational skills I developed through years of research in molecular biology to provide results-driven cosmetic treatments. Facial aesthetic enhancement has evolved rapidly with a confusing array of new technologies entering the field in the last several years.
